World Council & Leadership

The DPI World Council and Executive — representatives elected from each of the six regional blocks.

The World Council is DPI’s executive organ between World Assemblies. Its members are elected from each of DPI’s six regional development blocks, together with the Executive officers. The Council receives activity and regional-development reports, considers financial matters and approves new member organisations.

The list below reflects the World Council elected at the 9th World Assembly in Cairo (2016) and subsequent leadership changes, including the election of a World President in 2025. DPI’s records remain authoritative.
